Provisionally Licensed Therapist/ Candidate (LPCC, LSW, MFTC)

Overview

The Therapy Collective (TTC) is seeking a compassionate and motivated therapist candidate (LPCC,
LSW, or MFTC) to join our team. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality mental health services to
clients in a supportive, collaborative, and inclusive environment. You’ll have the opportunity to conduct
individual, and group therapy while working closely with supervisors and colleagues to continue honing
your skills and professional growth. (Opportunities for family and couples therapy are also available for
those interested.) This is a W-2 employment position. We are seeking therapists that are equally
invested in being a part of our community Collective.

We are looking for therapists who value lifelong learning and are committed to personal and
professional growth. At TTC, we believe that self-awareness and self-reflection are critical to providing
equitable and impactful care. We welcome candidates who are eager to explore their own biases and
engage in anti-racism and anti-discrimination practices to best serve our clients and communities. We’re
not looking for providers who have all the answers. Instead, we value therapists who are actively
engaged in their own growth—those who approach their work with curiosity, self-awareness, and a
thoughtful commitment to understanding and honoring the diverse experiences of others.

About The Therapy Collective

At TTC, we believe in nurturing both our therapists and clients. We were founded on the principle that
investing in the education and well-being of our providers creates a ripple effect of positive impact for
the clients and communities we serve. By fostering a supportive and authentic work environment, we
empower therapists to provide exceptional care while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Our Guiding Values

  • Support: We live by the belief that "we belong to one another," fostering an environment where
therapists can uplift each other and contribute to a shared sense of purpose.
  • Authenticity: We encourage therapists to show up as their true selves, believing that authenticity
is essential for both therapeutic relationships and workplace harmony.
  • Inclusivity: We are dedicated to creating a welcoming space where individuals from all
backgrounds, identities, and experiences feel seen, respected, and supported. By fostering a
culture of empathy and openness, we aim to celebrate diversity and provide meaningful care that
honors each person’s unique story and create a place of belonging.
  • Accountability: We embrace curiosity and open communication, fostering a culture of learning
and repair in relationships to build trust and safety.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide psychotherapy for a range of mental health concerns, including PTSD and trauma.
  • Maintain a caseload of at least 20 billable client hours per week
  • Conduct client assessments to identify mental health needs and treatment goals
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Manage recurring client scheduling needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including SOAP notes and treatment plans
  • Attend required meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Understand basic billing processes and procedural codes (administrative staff handle billing)

Qualifications and Skills

  • Master’s degree in a related field and provisional licensure in Colorado (LPCC, LSW, or MFTC)
  • Alignment with TTC’s mission, vision, and values
  • Experience with telehealth platforms
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality practices
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in writing professional documentation (e.g., SOAP notes, treatment plans).
  • Commitment to ongoing self-reflection and professional development.
  • Flexibility to work with diverse client populations and presenting issues as you work towards
    building your preferred caseload

This position is not right for you if you’re:

  • Someone looking for a clock-in, clock-out job.
  • Planning to start your own private practice in the near future. If that’s you, awesome! But we’re
not the place for you. We are deeply invested in building and supporting a team here at TTC. We
offer flexibility, autonomy, and creative opportunities throughout your career span. We’re
seeking individuals who are equally committed to investing their time and energy into growing
    with TTC
  • Uninterested in collaborative work or engaging in personal and professional growth.
  • Expecting perfection over progress. At TTC, we’re working to create an environment that
requires your active participation in shaping our collective growth. We’re looking for individuals
who approach challenges with curiosity and motivation—those who are eager to participate in
solutions rather than solely focus on identifying problems. Together, we can create a supportive,
    evolving space.

This position is great for you if you’re:

  • Passionate about TTC’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Excited to grow and learn in a supportive and collaborative environment.
  • Dedicated to self-reflection and engaging in your own continuous intrapersonal work
  • Committed to providing equitable care.
  • Motivated to help others while contributing to TTC’s growth and impact.
  • Comfortable with constructive feedback and open to continuous improvement.

Benefits

  • $44,000–$80,960 per year, depending on client hours and additional credentials/trainings
    (e.g., EMDR, LAC)

    grows
  • Flexible, hybrid schedule — mix of telehealth and in-person sessions
  • W-2 employment
  • Four weeks paid time off (PTO)
  • 401(k) with 4% employer match — 100% vested from day one
  • $300/month wellness stipend
  • Individual and group supervision
  • Ongoing continuing education (CE) opportunities
  • Comfortable, beautifully decorated office spaces
  • Collaborative Marketing Support
  • Supportive work environment focused on a healthy work-life balance
